Beautiful Autumn..

Autumn is here once again. Too bad it can't last any longer. Here are some pictures I took at the University of Alberta with my friend Elena. She's pretty, I know...but she's already taken..so too bad:P

I am hoping to take some pictures with Donna, but she's been busy, so till she has time...you won't be seeing more.
Hopefully, the leaves are still alive by then.

Turning 23.

Jared mumbles.."your birthday is OVER, why are you still thinking about it?". Well, this is my blog and most of the people I love could not have made it, not because of time but because they are half way around the world. So, here I am still smiling about it...I absolutely enjoyed the day and I want to thank my boyfriend Kevin and also my sister Donna for taking time to plan this and everyone who attended to make this day happen!:)

So the night before, my good friend Laura, who happens to have the exact same birthday as me invited me over to her house. She's such a generous person and she shared her birthday with me... (Yummy muffins!)
When I got home...Donna surprised me with her awfully creative gift:
I know purple is my favourite colour, I just assume I have grown out of it. Only to realize I still buy a lot of purple stuff. Drives Kevin crazy.
I spent the afternoon with Debbie and Pamela at Joey's and then got home to get ready. Debbie couldn't make it that night..but I still love her lots and lots.
I had my wine...
And I had my friends!! Let me introduce to you some of my fav. people in Canada:
Mary and Jae, who just got married in the summer.
Carmen and Christine. Christine is one of my sweetest friends and we are practically family. I knew her since way back before I moved back to Malaysia and our family are friends. She makes Donna and I feel like giants because she's so petite~
Elena, my hot sexy nurse friend. Marta.Kevin and Jared, my beloved Tam brothers.Rio.William and Shay.Shu is my best friend since playschool and Stephen the boyfriend :PMost importantly, my sister, my sidekick...And finally, Debbie's boyfriend Tony. He is a super special boy. He made my night for being there!!:)
Kevin will always be Kevin. Look what he accidentally chose...it's ok babe..I love your imperfections. (but yes..you are coming with me to exchange this.)

We went back to Kevin's place to play cranium. Kevin read his card to me in his room..and Stephen secretly took this photo from the balcony window. LOL..I think it's cute, our 1st papparazi shot:P

Useless Sunday.

Sunday. The only day of the week where I don't have to work or sit in a lecture hall.

Yet all I could do was lay in bed until my back gave up on me and asked me to stop putting all the pressure on her. mahaaha..my back is female..so is every part of my body, this is not a gender marking. Although I must say, I have rather manly feet. Hate them:(

So now I am still working on my Linguistic assignment. Reading it through this one paragraph a hundred times.

Accomplishments this week:
1. I finally get what a Turing machine is.
2. I am right on track with my courses. Not behind. Not ahead either. hehe.
3. I arrived at work on time every single day.
4. Partying was fabulous this weekend.
5. I got 1 hour of workout with my dear friend Elena.
6. Bought my groceries and didn't go over 100dollars!!

Stupid Emo things this week:
1. Argued with a good friend.
2. Didn't feel like myself.
3. Losing faith in God.

I heard mom just opened her clothing store yesterday, should send me some pictures to look at. YAY, I get cheaper clothes when I get back.

Darn Psych 354. I've read that chapter for about 5 minutes and wanted to sleep. To be honest, this Turing Machine is darn confusing and I am such a behaviourist I totally disagree with how Cognitive psychology always trashes them. Will be asking 101 questions in class today..haha..reminds me of this one guy in high school. SO annoying.
I realize that I do enjoy studying. (YES I am a nerd). But I can't study at home. It's too darn Cozy:(

to dad. Sorry for not wanting to stay on the phone this morning. As you know, I am an extremely last minute person so I was just finishing some homework before class, which was like in 30mins. Bad timing:(

I am taking 4 courses this term...meaning to say I have 3 full semesters (5 courses each) and also 2 extra courses to take in the spring/summer.

If not, I will have to take another semester to finish and I will only be back in Malaysia in 2011. DELAYED~~:(
